Standing Rules Click here for standing rules. SSIGs have a strong presence in states like NY, CT, and MA, and now it’s NJ’s turn to rise! By joining or helping to build this new community, you'll be part of an exciting opportunity to create outreach locally and collaborate across state lines. Who We Are The APTANJ SSIG is a student-led branch of the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey, designed to empower students to lead, connect, and make a meaningful impact early in their physical therapy journey. Whether you're in your first semester or preparing for your boards, this group is for you.
What We Offer The SSIG aims to:
Mentorship Opportunities The APTANJ Mentorship program is a networking and professional development program designed to create a pathway for those who are seeking clinical and professional mentorship, to connect with experienced members, who have made themselves available for guidance and support. The program is open to all APTANJ members and can benefit clinicians at all stages of experience -- from students and new grads to experienced therapists who may be transitioning practice settings, moving to new professional roles, or simply looking to expand their knowledge. Click here for more information on finding a mentor or becoming one.
Get Involved 📣 We are currently building our inaugural SSIG leadership team and would love for motivated student leaders to join us in shaping this initiative from the ground up.
