How to join a SIG...
Any APTANJ member, whether a PT, PTA or student, may join any and all of our chapter's special interest groups! There is no limit to the number of SIGs you may belong to and there are no additional fees to join an APTANJ SIG. The only requirement is that you must be a current member of the New Jersey chapter.
Our SIG members are not required to belong to a complementary national APTA Section, however participation in a SIG will provide opportunities to meet many section members who can tell you more about services & resources offered by a dues-supported national APTA section.
HOW TO JOIN: On the APTANJ website, navigate to the "Members" tab, then scroll down to "Special Interest Groups" on the drop down menu and you'll see the full listing of APTANJ SIGs. Click on the name of the SIG you are interested in to navigate to that webpage. Most SIG pages have contact forms or you can call the APTANJ Executive Office at (609) 570-3492 to have your name added to a SIG list. You can also send an email to info@aptanj.org.
SIG Meetings
Special Interest Groups typically meet virtually, every other month. SIG members are notified of meetings via email and information is posted on the APTANJ website calendar.
