Seton Hall University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program proudly hosted the annual APTA Advocacy Dinner, bringing together students, faculty, and leaders in the profession to celebrate the power of advocacy and the future of physical therapy.
The evening opened with remarks from Dr. Randy Kolodny, SHU Professor, and Juliana Samuel, APTA Student Liaison, who set the stage with the event’s inspiring theme — encouraging everyone to dream boldly, build purposefully, and redefine the future of our profession. We were honored to welcome guest speakers from APTA New Jersey — Dr. Spiridoula Riley, APTANJ Delegate and Federal Affairs Liaison, and Dr. Owen Legaspi — who shared invaluable insights on legislative advocacy, professional leadership, and the role each of us plays in shaping the next generation of physical therapy. Huge thanks to our speakers, organizers, and attendees for making this event a success! Together, we’re not just imagining the future of PT — we’re building it. Are you interested in having APTANJ Leadership to speak with your students or staff? We appreciate the opportunity to meet and promote the benefits and advantages of our association.
