In February 1951, the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey (APTANJ) was formed. Seventy years later, the APTANJ is still going strong supporting our members, growing our membership and advocating for the protection and the advancement of the Physical Therapy profession in New Jersey.
To commemorate our anniversary as well as the 100th Anniversary of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Senator Nellie Pou and Assemblyman Tom Giblin sponsored a Joint Legislative Resolution in the New Jersey Senate and General Assembly.
Thank you, Senator Pou and Assemblyman Giblin for your support and friendship and thank you to all of our members who have made APTANJ one of the best associations in New Jersey and beyond for the past seven decades.
