Community: 2016 APTANJ Spring Conference
View Community Albums

It was an amazing day for the 2016 APTANJ Spring Conference in Edison.  More than 100 attendees were on hand for educational courses in Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Prosthetics, Yoga and Leadership.  APTANJ President, Mike Eisenhart, led the business meeting, where the PTA Vote passed unanimously. The APTANJ honored outgoing President, Dana Cartin and Secretary, Leslie Marcks and welcomed our new leaders, Marc Rubenstein (Secretary), Leslie Marcks (Vice President) and Carina Torres (Nominating Committee). The new members of the 2017 House of Delegates were also sworn in and the APTANJ recognized Michele Beltram (Clinical Excellence Award), Brian Mullins (Legislative Awards) and John Gallucci (Community Service Award) for their contributions and commitment to the profession in New Jersey.

A special presentation was made to past president Brian Mason as the Chapter established a challenge coin affectionately known as the "Mason Coin".  Each APTANJ Director will be provided with an allotment of these coins and will recognize individuals exemplifying excellence within NJ's PT community by presenting them with one of these coins.

More than $2,000 was raised for the PT PLAN, APTANJ's political action committee during the event as well to help support our political efforts!

Thank you to all of the attendees, presenters, guests, exhibitors and sponsors for making this event such a tremendous success.

A special thanks also to our friends from the NE Caucus and APTANJ President-elect Paul Vidal for making them feel at home in the great Garden State.
