During the APTA’s 2015 House of Delegates in National Harbor, MD last week it was announced that APTANJ member Margo Orlin, PT, PhD, FAPTA was selected as a Catherine Worthingham Fellow.

According to the APTA, the purpose of the Catherine Worthingham Fellow designation (FAPTA) is to honor Dr. Worthingham and inspire all physical therapists to attain the high level of professional excellence and impact in terms of advancing the physical therapy profession. The FAPTA designation is the highest honor among APTA's membership categories.

Orlin has been a member since 1973 and resides in Voorhees, NJ.  She is an associate professor at Drexel University in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences and director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.

Congratulations from all of us at the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey.

To be eligible for consideration, a physical therapist must be a member of the association whose contributions to the profession through leadership, influence, and achievements demonstrate frequent and sustained efforts to advance the profession for a period of not less than 15 years, preceding the nomination for election.
