In today’s treatment environment, altered lower quarter biomechanics comprise a significant portion of diagnoses seen by orthopedic physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Proper evaluation, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based practice are essential components of a physical therapist’s scope of practice.

For every one of these patients, they are affected in the physical, emotional, and functional realm. As Doctors of Physical Therapy, it is crucial to be educated and competent in evaluating and providing the best treatment that is individualized, holistic, patient centered, and evidence based.

This course offering will cover in depth, the evaluation, interpretation and decision-making process of various hip and pelvic diagnoses, utilizing some of the most widely respected and professionally supported methods. Along with this, this course will cover in depth, the basic surgical techniques and recovery of hip and pelvic procedures.

Lastly, to satisfy the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy Examiners’ Continuing Education hours, this course will give practicing PT's and PTA's a 2.0 hour evidence based course.

Seating is limited to 25 spaces to maintain optimal lecturer to participant ratio.
