Practice Act Bill - “Revises statutes regarding practice of physical therapy.”

Continues to meet with interested stakeholders to encourage support for passage in 2016. Pass Assembly Regulated Professions Committee 7-0-1 in February 2016.

A4368/S1215 Physical Therapy Licensure Compact Support S2511 sponsored by Senators Dick Codey & Dawn Addiego is in the Senate Commerce Committee waiting to be heard. Dan and I have met with Senator Nellie Pou who is the new Chairperson the committee and are working with her and her chief of staff to get the bill posted to be heard. In the Assembly we have the related PTLC bill sponsored by Assemblymen Conaway and Giblin, A4368 is in the Assembly Regulated Profession Committee. We are working with Assemblyman Conaway and his staff to have the bill posted in the Assembly Regulated Profession Committee where Assemblyman Giblin is the Chairman.

Requires public school students with concussion to be evaluated by licensed health care professionals before return to school; requires school districts to provide restrictions or limitations to student as needed.

 Reviewing APTANJ is currently reviewing and discussing this bill


Out-of-network Consumer Protection, Transparency, Cost Containment and Accountability Act

 Reviewing A1952 referred to the Assembly Appropriations Committee and S1285 was transferred from the Senate Commerce Committee to the Senate budget & Appropriations Committee
 A2668/S1954 Requires health insurance carriers, SHBP, and SEHBP to provide coverage for telemedicine Reviewing
